Deadwood & Rudder Post

The skeg or "deadwood" is laminated Douglas fir, fastened to the hull with epoxy and bronze through-bolts. The fiberglass sheathed plywood centerboard trunk sides extend through in a continuous surface that will be capped by the lead ballast shoe. The aft end of the skeg is coved out to receive the rudder post.
