Planking
Once the setup has been batten-faired, the 3/4" X 1 -1/2" milled cedar strips are hung in place. The first plank goes on at the turn of the bilge, and although there is some beveling required in the tightly curved sections, most are simply bent to shape and temporarily fastened until the glue dries.
